Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 23 October 2026
Welcome to Casañor.
These Terms & Conditions govern purchases made through our website at www.casanor.co.uk.
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, together with our Returns & Refunds Policy, Privacy Policy and any additional terms clearly presented for a particular product or service.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory consumer rights.
1. About Casañor
Casañor is an independent jewellery business operated by Ingrid Chavez Jimenez, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.
Trading name: Casañor
Legal name: Ingrid Chavez Jimenez
Business address: 242 Acklam Road, London, W10 5JJ
Email: hola@casanor.co.uk
Telephone: +44 7539 066443
Website: www.casanor.co.uk
2. Our Products
Casañor offers jewellery including earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets and other accessories.
Many pieces are handmade, produced in small quantities or individually designed. Some products may be made or sourced specifically for Casañor.
Materials may include Talavera ceramics, glass beads, natural stones, pearls, crystals and different metal finishes, as specified in individual product descriptions.
Because of the nature of handmade and natural materials, pieces may have slight variations in colour, pattern, texture, finish or dimensions.
We make reasonable efforts to represent products accurately through photographs, descriptions and measurements.
Screen settings and lighting may affect how colours appear.
These provisions do not affect your rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet applicable consumer standards.
3. Prices and Taxes
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) unless otherwise indicated.
Casañor is not currently VAT registered.
Delivery charges and any additional costs payable to Casañor will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
For international orders, import duties, customs charges, local taxes or handling fees may apply.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, such charges are not included in the price charged by Casañor and may be payable by the recipient.
Any mandatory requirements concerning the disclosure or collection of taxes and charges in the destination country will continue to apply.
4. Payment Methods
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout, which may include:
Credit and debit cards
Apple Pay
Google Pay
Payments are processed through the payment providers connected to our Wix website.
Casañor does not directly store complete payment card details.
An order must be paid for using an accepted payment method unless a different arrangement has been expressly agreed.
5. Placing an Order
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.
You will receive an order acknowledgement by email.
A contract is formed when we accept your order, as confirmed by our order acceptance or dispatch communication.
We may decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
A product is unavailable
Payment cannot be authorised
There is an obvious pricing or product description error
We reasonably suspect fraud
We cannot deliver to the selected destination
If we cannot fulfil an order for which payment has already been collected, we will issue the appropriate refund.
6. Product Availability
Many Casañor pieces are unique or available in limited quantities.
Adding a product to your basket does not reserve it.
If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund or alternative agreed with you.
If you are interested in a sold-out design, you may contact us at hola@casanor.co.uk to enquire about having a similar piece made.
Availability, materials and production times may vary.
7. Bespoke and Made-to-Order Jewellery
Casañor may accept bespoke commissions and requests to recreate sold-out designs, subject to availability.
Before accepting a bespoke commission, we will confirm:
The proposed design and agreed specifications
The price
The estimated production timeframe
Any other relevant requirements
The customer must approve the agreed details in writing before production begins.
Some bespoke or personalised items may be exempt from the ordinary statutory change-of-mind cancellation right where they are genuinely made to a customer's specifications or clearly personalised.
Being handmade or produced after purchase does not, by itself, establish that an item is exempt.
Any applicable cancellation restriction will be explained before the order is confirmed.
Statutory rights relating to faulty goods and goods not matching agreed specifications remain unaffected.
8. Processing and Dispatch
In-stock jewellery is normally prepared for dispatch within 3–5 working days.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will normally begin processing on the next working day.
Casañor frequently attends markets and events, so weekend processing arrangements help us balance online orders with in-person trading.
For bespoke or made-to-order items, we will communicate the estimated production and dispatch timeframe separately.
Working days generally mean Monday to Friday, excluding relevant public holidays.
Dispatch estimates do not include the time taken by the delivery provider to transport the parcel.
9. UK Shipping
Our standard UK delivery charge is £4.50.
We offer free standard UK delivery on eligible orders of £100 or more, subject to any conditions clearly shown at checkout.
Express delivery may be offered at an additional cost.
Orders are normally sent using Royal Mail, Evri or another suitable delivery provider.
Tracked services, signatures or delivery photographs may be used depending on the selected service.
Available delivery methods, charges and estimated delivery times will be shown before purchase.
Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless expressly stated otherwise.
Your statutory rights relating to delivery, including relevant delivery deadlines and responsibility for goods in transit, remain unaffected.
10. International Shipping
Casañor may deliver to selected destinations outside the United Kingdom, including the United States and certain European countries.
Available countries and shipping charges are determined by the options presented at checkout.
International deliveries may take longer due to customs procedures, local postal services and other circumstances.
Customers may be responsible for applicable import duties, taxes and customs handling fees, subject to the laws of the destination country and the terms disclosed at checkout.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions removes mandatory rights available to international consumers.
11. Market Collection
Where offered, customers may arrange free collection of an order from a Casañor market stall.
Collection must be agreed in advance by email or another communication method accepted by Casañor.
Orders may be collected during the relevant market's advertised opening hours.
If you cannot attend the agreed collection, please contact us.
We can discuss collection at a future market or delivery for the applicable shipping charge.
If a market is cancelled or collection becomes unavailable, we will contact you to arrange a reasonable alternative.
Online purchases collected at markets retain any applicable statutory online cancellation rights.
12. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Your cancellation, return, exchange and refund rights are explained in our separate Returns & Refunds Policy.
Eligible online purchases generally benefit from a statutory 14-day change-of-mind cancellation period.
Certain genuinely personalised or custom-made products may be exempt, where the legal requirements for an exemption are met.
Statutory rights for faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied goods are unaffected.
For return instructions, contact hola@casanor.co.uk.
13. Gift Cards
Casañor offers gift cards in selected fixed denominations and may allow customers to choose a custom amount within the limits displayed at purchase.
Gift cards may be delivered electronically, including through email, WhatsApp or SMS where supported.
Gift cards are intended for use towards eligible Casañor products and may be redeemed online, at participating Casañor markets or towards agreed bespoke commissions, subject to the redemption methods available.
Gift cards have a stated validity period of 12 months from purchase, except where applicable law requires a longer period or prohibits that expiry.
The expiry date or validity terms will be disclosed before purchase.
Gift cards may be available to customers internationally. Local consumer laws, including any mandatory gift card validity requirements, will apply where relevant.
Gift cards have no cash value except where redemption or refund in cash is required by law.
Where supported, remaining balances may be used towards future eligible purchases during the applicable validity period.
Customers may receive a reminder about unused balances or an approaching expiry date.
Gift cards must not be used fraudulently, unlawfully or in breach of the applicable terms.
14. Customer Accounts
Customers may create a Casañor member account to manage relevant profile information and access available account features.
Account registration is optional, and guest checkout may be used where available.
Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials and providing accurate information.
Optional profile information, including birthdate details, may be used as described in our Privacy Policy.
Creating an account does not automatically subscribe a customer to marketing communications.
15. Promotions and Discount Codes
Casañor may occasionally offer promotions, seasonal discounts, subscriber-only offers or other incentives.
Specific terms will be displayed where relevant.
Unless otherwise stated:
Promotions cannot be combined
Discount codes have no cash value
Offers may apply only to selected products or dates
Discounts cannot normally be applied retrospectively
Promotions do not affect statutory consumer rights.
16. Jewellery Care
Customers should follow any care instructions provided with their jewellery.
Materials and finishes may be affected by water, perfumes, cosmetics, chemicals, heat, impact or inappropriate storage.
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage and damage caused by misuse are not ordinarily manufacturing faults.
This does not affect your rights where a product fails to meet the standards required by law.
17. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the photographs, illustrations, graphics, text, branding, product designs and other original content displayed on our website are owned by or licensed to Casañor.
You may not reproduce or commercially exploit this content without permission, except where permitted by law.
Purchasing a product does not transfer any associated intellectual property rights.
18. Privacy and Personal Information
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may share information with website providers, payment processors, delivery services and other relevant providers where necessary to operate our business and fulfil orders.
We do not sell customer personal information.
19. Website Availability
We aim to keep our website accurate, secure and available.
However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that the website will always be free from technical errors.
We may update, maintain or temporarily suspend website functions where reasonably necessary.
20. Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:
Death or personal injury caused by negligence
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
Breach of statutory consumer rights
Other liability that cannot legally be excluded
Subject to applicable law, Casañor is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or that result from misuse of a product.
21. Complaints
If you have a concern about a product, order or service, please contact us at: hola@casanor.co.uk
We will aim to respond fairly and within a reasonable timeframe.
22. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Changes will normally apply to orders placed after the revised terms are published.
Orders already accepted remain subject to the terms applicable when the contract was formed, unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
23. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Consumers residing outside the United Kingdom may also benefit from mandatory protections under laws applicable to their purchases.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions removes or restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
24. General
These Terms & Conditions, our Returns & Refunds Policy, relevant product information and any specifically agreed order details form the terms applicable to your purchase.
If a provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
